The weather has been a huge impact on us on the South Shore over the past several weeks with snow and more snow every week.  The current issue for areas South of Boston is the compounding effects of the snow including the mounting ice dams and the heavy weight of snow on roofs.  In this episode, Stephen Cook of Imperial Inspection Services discusses the reasons we get ice dams to begin with, how to prevent them in the future and what do we do now that we have them.

Also, several listeners called with questions, comments and concerns regarding their ice dams and damage.  If you have questions for Sharon McNamara or Stephen Cook, please feel free to contact me at Sharon@BostonConnect .com or 781-294-4848 cell/text.
